The Youth Education Alliance Office (YEA) is a group of teenagers and young adults who know that we have the power to make a change. We bring youth together to identify the problems in our schools and solve them collectively. Through direct action and community education, we hold city leaders and school officials accountable to young people in our nation’s capital. Over the past several years, YEA has emerged as a powerful youth force at the forefront of education organizing in the city. Through petitions, direct action, public testimony, and media work. Our members have secured solid victories on our education platform.
