Virginia Williams Family Resource Center (VWFRC) is the central intake center for D.C. families experiencing housing instability in the District. Virginia Williams is a fully integrated family resource center of the Department of Human Services. VWFRC also provides the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

Project h.o.p.e. mission: emergency rental assistance program

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Project Housing Opportunities and Prevention Efforts (H.O.P.E.) is comprised of several funding resources that allow The Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness (TCP) to provide prevention assistance to individuals and families at risk of homelessness in the District of Columbia. Through these resources, TCP provides financial assistance to eligible residents to sustain housing with the ultimate goals of homeless prevention and housing retention.

Please note, the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) is the only one of the following programs that has funding currently.
